About the Role

Join the Australian Corneal Graft Registry (ACGR) within Flinders University's College of Medicine and Public Health, where you'll play an important role in supporting a nationally significant research and data registry. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you will contribute to the accurate processing, coding, management and quality assurance of clinical data, while providing administrative support that helps ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Registry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed administrative work, data accuracy, and working with healthcare and research stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing and managing incoming registry data, including reviewing submissions, identifying missing or inconsistent information, and liaising with contributors to resolve discrepancies.

  • Accurately coding, entering, validating and maintaining data within registry databases, ensuring high standards of data quality and confidentiality.

  • Supporting the preparation and distribution of reports and documentation for registry contributors and funding bodies.

  • Providing general administrative and office support, including correspondence, record management, document scanning, filing, and mail distribution.

Through maintaining high standards of data accuracy, confidentiality and administrative support, the role helps ensure the ongoing success and credibility of the Australian Corneal Graft Registry.

About You

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator who takes pride in producing accurate work and maintaining confidentiality. Comfortable working with data and established processes, you have strong problem-solving skills and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes. Your excellent communication skills and commitment to quality enable you to effectively manage competing priorities while contributing to a positive team environment.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

  • Experience in administrative support, data entry and database management, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify inconsistencies, solve problems and apply guidelines and procedures to ensure high-quality outcomes.

  • Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines and maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and contribute positively within a collaborative team environment.
