Job Description

Riipen is looking for talented sales and marketing professionals to help Riipen achieve its mission of ending graduate underemployment, through supporting our thriving Employer Partnerships team. This is a 6-month independent contract position. 


As a Riipen Affiliate, you will work directly with the Employer Partnerships team in order to develop and implement strategies that accelerate our customer base and increase activity on our platform. These strategies include, but are not limited to sales strategy, sales enablement, demand generation, and client support. This role is 100% commission-based. 


Your goal will be to help new companies and nonprofits join our platform to connect with educational institutions and provide their students with virtual work-integrated learning projects and virtual internships. As a fast-growing company, you’ll be providing critical support in enabling Riipen to reach wider audiences and expand our social reach. 


Responsibilities:


  • Work within the team to execute sales & marketing strategies by conducting innovative, team-directed prospecting and personal lead generation (eg. personal networking, and web-based searches)
  • Educate and promote the Riipen Platform (www.riipen.com) among your own business networks to generate new leads
  • Convert leads into Riipen Users through a personalized promotion code
  • Dream, innovate, and help the Riipen team become the technology leader in the education/recruitment technology space

Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to promote tech products and work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience in sales or marketing roles
  • Ability to consistently deliver sales & marketing results in a sales contract role
  • Strong communicator with the ability to explain concepts clearly both in writing and speech
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and strong analytical skills
  • A hunger and willingness to learn - we don’t expect you to tick all the boxes; however, you should be curious and ready to take on anything thrown your way
  • Bonus: Previous experience as an Influencer marketer
