We are seeking a Healthcare AI Business Development Leader to drive growth for our AI, GenAI, and agentic AI solutions across healthcare payers, providers, PBMs, and life sciences organizations. This role owns the end‑to‑end commercial lifecycle—from identifying high‑value AI opportunities and shaping demand, to solutioning, proposal development, and deal closure.

The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare domain knowledge, strong AI solution fluency, and the ability to translate complex AI capabilities into clear business value, ROI, and transformation narratives for executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Own revenue targets for AI and GenAI‑driven healthcare solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities across payer, provider, PBM, and life sciences clients.
  • Build and execute account growth strategies, including whitespace analysis and expansion plays.
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with CXO, EVP, and VP‑level stakeholders.

AI Solution Selling & Value Storytelling

  • Position AI, GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI solutions aligned to healthcare business problems such as:
    • Prior authorization & utilization management
    • Claims & payment integrity
    • Care management & clinical operations
    • Member and provider engagement
    • Clinical document processing and summarization
  • Translate AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes (cost reduction, productivity, quality, compliance, revenue uplift).
  • Lead executive presentations, POVs, workshops, and roadmap discussions.

Solution Shaping & Deal Closure

  • Partner with AI Solution Architects, Product, and Delivery teams to shape differentiated solutions.
  • Lead proposal responses, RFPs/RFIs, pricing models, and SOW structures (T&M, fixed price, outcome‑based where applicable).
  • Drive POCs, pilots, and demos to accelerate deal conversion.
  • Own commercial negotiations and drive deals to closure.

Market & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Stay current on healthcare AI trends, regulations, and market movements.
  • Collaborate with cloud and technology partners (e.g., hyperscalers, AI platform vendors).
  • Contribute to go‑to‑market assets, solution collateral, and thought leadership.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications Healthcare Domain Expertise

  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, including payer and provider operations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data, regulatory, and compliance considerations (HIPAA, PHI/PII).
  • Experience selling solutions into health plans, health systems, PBMs, or life sciences organizations.

AI & Analytics Acumen

  • Solid understanding of AI / ML / GenAI concepts (no coding required, but solution fluency is essential).
  • Experience positioning solutions involving:
    • LLMs and generative AI
    • Intelligent document processing
    • Analytics‑driven decision support
  • Ability to articulate AI architecture at a high level and connect it to business value.

Commercial & Client Skills

  • Proven ability to own and close large, complex deals.
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams (architecture, data science, engineering, delivery).
  • Comfortable in ambiguity and fast‑evolving AI landscapes.
