The AI Creative + Automation Associate will build AI-powered production systems for scalable content creation, collaborating on strategy and optimizing workflows.
Vocal Media is seeking an AI Creative + Automation Associate to help turn creative ideas into scalable, automated content workflows. In this role, you’ll build and improve AI-powered production systems that support high-quality, high-volume, short-form content across platforms. This is a full-time position through November 2026, with the opportunity for extension.
Responsibilities
- Translate creative strategy into repeatable, scalable systems for AI-powered content production.
- Collaborate with creative, innovation, and social teams to ensure automated outputs align with brand voice, cultural relevance, and platform-native storytelling.
- Identify opportunities to streamline ideation, production, and publishing through automation.
- Use performance data and audience insights to continuously refine creative systems and content workflows.
- Build and maintain automated workflows for short-form content creation using AI tools (Runway, Higgsfield, Veo, ChatGPT, Sora, etc.).
- Design modular creative frameworks (templates, prompts, pipelines) that enable rapid, high-volume content production.
- Integrate AI tools with automation platforms to reduce manual effort across creative operations.
- Stay current on emerging AI and automation capabilities, testing and implementing new tools to improve efficiency and creative output.
- Support the AI Creative team by documenting workflows, best practices, and system logic for scalable use.
- Train and support team members on automated creative pipelines and AI-assisted production methods.
- Partner with the Director of AI Creative Strategy + Senior Director of Innovation to prototype new automated creative formats and production systems.
- Act as a bridge between creative vision and technical execution, ensuring tools actually work in practice.
- Help manage AI Studio operations, including tracking creative workflows, automation performance, and production timelines.
- Maintain and optimize systems for creative requests, deliverables, approvals, and handoffs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate automation tools into existing processes.
- Assist with onboarding and training AI Social Media Managers on AI workflows, automation tools, and production systems.
Creative Strategy & Systems Thinking AI & Automation-Driven Production Creative Operations & Enablement
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in content creation, creative production, digital operations, or automation-focused roles.
- Basic proficiency with APIs, prompt engineering, or no-code tooling is a plus.
- Strong understanding of short-form, social-first content (TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Hands-on experience using AI creative tools for image, video, or copy generation.
- Experience building or maintaining automated workflows (Zapier, Make, scripts, internal tools, or equivalent).
- Strong organizational and systems-thinking skills.
- Familiarity with content analytics, performance tracking, and optimization loops.
- Ability to balance creative intuition with operational efficiency.
- Clear communication skills and comfort documenting processes and workflows.
- Deep awareness of internet culture, trends, and platform behavior.
