The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an AI Enterprise Architect, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Consulting across corporate functions and business units to translate business needs into end‑to‑end AI solution architectures spanning discovery, design, delivery, and operations.
Defining and maintaining enterprise AI reference architectures, standards, and reusable patterns across data, platforms, applications, and integrations.
Leading build / buy / partner architectural decision‑making, including platform strategy, vendor evaluation, integration approaches, and long‑term ecosystem fit.
Designing and governing modern AI architectures, including Generative AI, LLMs, agentic systems, and the data and knowledge layers that enable them.
Embedding responsible AI considerations into solution designs, addressing data governance, privacy, compliance, and risk management requirements.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 12+ years of experience in enterprise, solution, or platform architecture roles supporting large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives
5 years' experience designing and governing enterprise data architectures, including platforms and semantic layers that support analytics and AI
3 years experience architectural leadership across Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic architectures, with accountability for design decisions and outcomes
Experience guiding AI initiatives from early discovery through development, production deployment, and long‑term lifecycle management
Experience incorporating security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI requirements into solution architectures
Ability to lead through influence, partnering effectively with business leaders, product teams, engineering, data, security, and governance stakeholders
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
Experience operating within or establishing an Enterprise AI Center of Excellence or enterprise architecture function
Familiarity with AI platform operations, including model lifecycle management, observability, and governance frameworks
Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or medical technology
Work Location -Remote
Travel: 15%
