Job Description
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Department: Global Education & Development
OverviewAre you passionate about how people learn? Under the direction of our Global Education Team, the Summer Intern will help shape the future of employee development. While AI is the subject matter, this is first and foremost a training and education role.
The intern will be an active participant in the full instructional design lifecycle—from program implementation and content development to reporting on learner success. You will help bridge the gap between complex technology and practical employee adoption, ensuring our workforce is empowered to use AI effectively and ethically.
Scope of ResponsibilitiesInstructional Design: Collaborate with the Employee & Partner Training teams to design and implement a comprehensive training strategy tailored for a corporate audience focused on implementing AI.
AI Integration: Use Generative AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, ChatGPT, NotebookLM) as a "co-designer" to accelerate content creation and innovate how we deliver education.
Content Development: Create engaging learning materials (e-learning modules, job aids, and workshop guides) that translate technical AI concepts into digestible, actionable training.
Engagement & Adoption: Contribute creative ideas to promote a culture of continuous learning and drive internal adoption of new digital tools.
Data & Analytics: Organize and collect learner data to analyze program effectiveness and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Team Support: Provide general administrative and creative support to the Global Education team as needed.
Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a closely related field. (Graduation date must be December 2026 or later).
Pedagogical Knowledge: A strong understanding of adult learning theories and how to structure information for diverse learner profiles.
AI Literacy: Comfortable using AI tools for research or creative workflows, with an interest in how these tools impact human performance.
Technical Writing: Excellent writing and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
Authoring Tools: Familiarity with content development software such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, or similar L&D platforms.
Soft Skills: A self-motivated communicator with exceptional organizational skills and a "people-first" mindset.

Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
