About Motion

Motion is building the first end-to-end agentic work suite for everyday businesses. Unlike point solutions or bolt-on tools, Motion was built from the ground up with AI agents at the core. Our platform already powers project management, documents, sheets, calendars, meetings, knowledge, and communication — and now we’re layering in AI Employees that can autonomously execute work across all of it.

What makes us different is that our agents are natively embedded in the platform. They’re not integrations, and they’re not copilots that just suggest things — they actually complete work with full access to data, context, and workflows. In just three months, AI Employees have grown from $0 to eight-figure ARR, and we’re only getting started.

With backing from YC and Sam Altman, a $500M+ valuation, and hundreds of thousands of users, we’re well positioned to lead. Now we’re building agents that work with extreme accuracy and unlock an order-of-magnitude boost in productivity.

Motion is intense, fast, and not for everyone. We're a great place to focus, learn, and accelerate your career. If you want to work with top talent, push yourself harder than you thought possible, and help redefine how AI gets deployed in the real world, then you’ll thrive here.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly-skilled and performance-oriented AI Video Editor Lead to join our creative team. This role reports directly to our Creative Director and is a full-time position based remotely. The team operates in US hours but this hire can be located globally.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing direct response creatives for paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, with a proven ability to produce high-volume, conversion-focused video content efficiently. The role emphasizes AI-enhanced workflows to accelerate production cycles, improve creative quality, and reduce revision loops. In addition, most of the footage that will be edited will be generated from AI. As an experienced editor you will collaborate closely with a small, high-agency team of growth marketers and in-house creators to ensure the delivery of assets that drive conversion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of AI-driven creative production in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. If you’re obsessed with hooks, pacing, and platform-based storytelling—and you can move quickly without losing taste—you’ll thrive here.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience editing direct response performance creatives for paid social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of conversion-focused editing techniques including hooks, pacing, storytelling, and call-to-action structures

  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-volume creative output in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment

  • Hands-on experience utilizing AI video generation (eg Remotion) and enhancement tools within production workflows

  • Proficiency with core editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent

  • Working knowledge of creative design tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Figma

  • Experience collaborating with creative strategists, growth teams, or performance marketing teams

  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and execute with minimal revisions and oversight

  • Strong communication skills and comfort participating in real-time feedback sessions

  • Experience managing multiple creative experiments simultaneously while maintaining speed and quality

  • Proficiency with AI and technical tools such as Higgsfield, Google V3/Gemini workflows, Sora, Kling, or similar AI platforms

  • Understanding of AI-assisted editing techniques, including both overt AI creative and realistic AI integrations

  • A portfolio showcasing direct response and AI-enhanced video work

Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality paid social performance creatives optimized for conversions and engagement

  • At first the team will produce the footage; your main focus is stitching and text overlays for 100+ concepts a week

  • Optimize pacing, hooks, and CTAs to maximize campaign performance

  • Deliver a high volume of creative assets with minimal revision cycles

  • Integrate AI tools into the production workflow to accelerate output and enhance creative quality

  • Create both AI-forward and AI-assisted realistic video content, continuously testing new workflows for performance improvements

  • Collaborate closely with Creative Director to interpret briefs and execute creative concepts effectively

  • Participate in creative meetings to provide input, reduce revision loops, and align on feedback

Who You Are
  • You move fast but care a lot about taste and details.

  • Proficiency is Adobe Premiere Pro is cool but CapCut or something lightweight should be your primary NLE

  • You’re comfortable getting direct creative feedback and iterating quickly.

  • You love studying what works on TikTok/Reels/Shorts and can explain why a clip hits.

  • You’re proactive: if a hook isn’t working, you suggest alternatives.
