About the Role: 

We are seeking an Analyst, Data & Software Engineering to join our rapidly growing product and engineering development team.  
 
Our company specializes in enterprise-level media measurement and optimization across various industries. In this role, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining scalable software and data solutions to enhance performance, stability, and scalability. You will work under the guidance of experienced team members and collaborate with internal and client stakeholders throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. 
 

The ideal candidate will be familiar with iterative development practices, version control systems like GitHub, and a passion for developing both conceptual and pragmatic problem-solving skills. Your attention to detail and communication skills, both written and oral, will enable you to work directly with business users, understand their objectives, and learn to translate them into technical requirements. Responsibilities of an Analyst, Data & Software Engineering: 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define needs & develop applications that bring value to the organization. 

  • Assess complex problems and provide well thought out options on how to resolve them.  

  • Create distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost, and simple-to-manage/use 

  • Document and test new software solutions.  

  • Follow current documentation templates and suggest improvements to documentation strategies. 

  • Test systems to ensure the highest quality solutions possible. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 0-1 years experience creating software.  

  • Experience with one or more major programming object-oriented languages (Python, Java). Python preferred. 

  • Experience working with databases using SQL.  

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.   

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented. 

  • Ability to interact with cross-functional teams. 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities. 

  • Highly developed analytical and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

 

Pay Transparency 

At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below. 

For this entry-level Analyst position, the base salary is $60,000. In addition, there is an annual bonus opportunity of up to 10% of base salary ($6,000), which you will be eligible for starting in 2026.
