Position Summary

The Financial Analyst will be focused on providing analytical support for our Clinical Operations FP&A team, to drive actionable business insights. The role will be responsible for reporting, budgeting, forecasting and monthly analysis.

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of financial/corporate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Superior analytical and communication skills are equally important in this role, as you will be interacting with management on a regular basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform analytics related to business performance and profitability trends

  • Support the development of the annual budget and periodic forecast deliverables

  • Maintain and improve complex financial models used to project short- and long-term sales and gross margin performance

  • Act as a key liaison between Finance and various business units to ensure that financial forecasts align with current trends and market conditions

  • Help support the long-term financial planning process and other strategic initiatives

  • Provide analytical support for ad hoc analysis as requested by senior management and as opportunities present themselves

Requirements: 

  • 1-2+ years of finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles 
  • Microsoft Excel experience using functions such as PivotTables, formulas, Filters, etc.
  • Microsoft Access and PowerPoint experience
  • SAP experience a plus 
  • Proven ability to perform well and with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines 
  • Strong organizational skills and the proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities 
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills at all levels
  • The ability to work independently and as a team player

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
