As an Analyst, Geospatial, you will be part of a team that supports multiple departments—Development, Engineering, Environmental, and Land—ensuring geospatial data and mapping are accurate, accessible, and useful. You’ll gain exposure to many aspects of the business process, from project siting and permitting to construction and operations.

  • Work closely with GIS Analysts and Developers to deliver high-quality maps, data, and interactive, online products.

  • Partner with Development and Engineering teams to meet project needs and deadlines.

  • Incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders to refine deliverables.

Project & Workflow Support

  • Assist with map requests, spatial data integration, and basic analyses.

  • Support project intake by organizing surveys, parcels, and environmental datasets.

  • Learn how geospatial workflows contribute to siting, land acquisition, permitting, and design.

Data Management & Learning

  • Maintain centralized GIS databases with attention to standards and version control.

  • Learn project geospatial data needs and support holistic data management for project data.

  • Follow established practices for metadata and file management.

  • Learn automation and efficiency practices to streamline repetitive tasks.

Team Contribution & Growth

  • Participate actively in team meetings, knowledge-sharing, and problem-solving sessions.

  • Build an understanding of how GIS connects across departments and contributes to business decisions.

  • Actively learn how the GIS team operates and contribute to ongoing improvements.

  • Take advantage of opportunities for skill development in GIS software, scripting, and renewable energy workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field.

  • Proficiency with ESRI software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS Enterprise).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team.

  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or academic experience applying GIS in real-world projects.

  • Familiarity with renewable energy, environmental datasets, or land records.

  • Exposure to automation tools (Python, SQL) or interest in learning them.
