Summary:
The Analyst, Post Sale Title serves as the primary liaison between our organization and vendors providing title services, with a specific focus on managing FHA and VA title processing for post-sale conveyance files. This role ensures seamless communication, drives process efficiencies, and delivers high-quality reporting and analysis on vendor performance and title operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and adept at maintaining strong working relationships both internally and externally.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the single point of contact for all title-related communication with third-party title vendors or law firms on post foreclosure sale loan managed within the Claims Department.
Manage and oversee the post-sale title processing and issue resolution of FHA and VA conveyance loans to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely execution.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to contractual service level agreements (SLAs) and internal quality standards.
Develop and maintain a post-sale title vendor scorecard, including relevant KPIs and metrics.
Compile and distribute monthly reporting on title performance, processing times, issue resolution, and relationship insights.
Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the title process, and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency to include, but not be limited to, system enhancements, dashboards, reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams including post-sale operations, best execution, disposition and analytics, compliance, and business controls as needed.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors through proactive communication and accountability.
Support leadership with insights, summaries, and recommendations based on reporting and vendor interactions.
Responsible for learning new skills and expand job knowledge to better perform assigned duties.
Maintain monthly performance in alignment with quality expectations.
Responsible for staying abreast of relevant changes to GSE or Government Mortgage Insured guidelines, industry standards and client expectations.
Ensure timely completion of projects and tasks when assigned. If unable to meet a deadline, the deadline must be renegotiated prior to the initial deadline date.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
3+ years of experience in mortgage operations, title services, or related field, with a focus on FHA/VA post-sale processes preferred
Strong knowledge of mortgage title processes, FHA/VA guidelines, and post-sale workflow
Proven ability to manage third-party relationships and vendor performance
Moderate computer skills with MS Word, Excel.
Strong attention to details and excellent time management and organizational skills.
Comprehensive writing skills, including proper punctuation and grammar, organization, and formatting.
Ability to work under general direction to accomplish department goals and reduce/mitigate financial loss to Freedom Mortgage.
Ability to work effectively and develop rapport with all levels of staff, management, Investors/Insurers and 3rd parties.
Ability to identify urgent matters requiring immediate action and properly escalating them.
Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and changing priorities.
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma required; Associate/Bachelor Degree preferred.
Five (5) or more years’ mortgage servicing default experience.
One (1) or more years’ Loan Servicing platform experience for all default related activities such as Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Default Claims, Loss Mitigation, etc.
Previous FHA, VA, USDA and PMI experience preferred

Problems and issues faced are general but require analysis of FFOC’s policies and procedures, as well as external best practices and regulations, to assess and resolve.
