About Salesforce

We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

This role will support the Marketing Planning and Strategy team in developing and operationalizing the end-to-end processes on workforce planning, location strategy, and position management in the marketing organization. This role will bridge the gap between business requests and real-time execution, streamlining manual operational processes into scalable and efficient workflows. This individual will create workforce enablement materials to educate and support marketing stakeholders, ensuring alignment and compliance with our workforce strategy and long-term plans. The candidate must be detail-oriented, adaptable to new systems, and outstanding at handling large datasets while being an excellent collaborator and communicator.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and streamline reports and dashboards using Salesforce platforms to track key metrics. Provide informative trending and analysis to key partners

  • Implement standard processes to maintain workforce and headcount data in a scalable way. Ensure positions and job requisitions are accurate and up-to-date on a consistent basis

  • Manage internal Slack channels, refine workflows, and provide troubleshooting support, ensuring key workforce request fields are captured in the request intake process, facilitating timely approval and execution of workforce-related tasks

  • Research best practices for position management within the enterprise; create and update enablement materials to educate and support marketing stakeholders on a regular basis

  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues in our systems of record to ensure data accuracy and completeness

  • Document and prioritize enhancements for workforce reporting based on feedback from marketing stakeholders. Gather requirements, analyze stakeholder needs, and propose solutions to address data requests and reporting gaps

  • Support the development of workforce planning documentation, such as position management policies, to educate hiring managers and marketing stakeholders on the organization's workforce strategy and position management procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient in Excel and Google Sheets. Experience with building and managing a scalable database is preferred. Must be quick to learn and adapt to new systems

  • Experience handling confidential workforce information

  • Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in fast-paced environments

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work and collaborate with worldwide teams (ability to work in PST timezone preferred)

  • 2-5 years of experience in Finance, Analytics, and/or Business Operations
