YOUR ROLE:

The Analytics Enablement Engineer defines and implements analytics solutions in support of the measurement needs of RAPP’s client initiatives.  This person will facilitate architecture, documentation, and the implementation of a wide-range of analytics solutions including, data ecosystem components, tag management, analytics platform configuration, and data extraction to facilitate the comprehensive tracking of marketing touchpoints.  Experience with data ecosystems, digital media platforms, web analytics software, tag management systems, and data management concepts is critical in this role.  At RAPP, Analytics Enablement exists at the intersection between analytics and technology, as a division of the RAPP Marketing Sciences Center of Excellence.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform discovery of client marketing and analytics data ecosystems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into solutions for analytics initiatives
  • Partner on requirements for data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure the efficient collection, storage, and processing of data.
  • Design and implement data models and views to organize and optimize the storage and retrieval of data
  • Develop and maintain foundational data analytics capabilities such as dashboards and self-service initiatives that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization
  • Identify and resolve data quality and integrity issues, ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and accessible to stakeholders

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of analytics and technology experience
  • An understanding of ETL concepts including the data integration pipeline, staging tables, incremental loading, SCD, data quality, business logic, and views
  • Experience authoring SQL, Python, and JavaScript in team environments, leveraging Git for source control
  • Experience authoring SQL to query, load, transform, and retrieve data from various databases including MS SQL Server, Redshift, and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with scripting and other languages including Python, JavaScript, CLI, and Regular Expressions
  • Experience with cloud services including Amazon Web Services
  • An understanding of core marketing analytics concepts including impressions, clicks, pageviews, events, sessions, users, conversions, and attribution models
  • Experience working in or supporting analytics for digital media, with working knowledge of Google Analytics / Ads / Campaign Manager / DV360 / SA360, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Kochava or other MMPs, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Adobe Analytics is a plus
  • Problem-Solving & Commitment: Ability to solve complex measurement and business challenges through technical creativity, while maintaining a continuing education commitment to remain current on analytics technology
  • Personal Traits: Passionate about problem solving in the areas of marketing, data, analytics, and technology; excellent verbal and written communication skills

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
