An exciting opportunity to work in the ever-changing Telecommunication Industry. As a member of the IP Networks Hardware Development team for Network Infrastructure. You will be a part of a team whose objectives are to deliver in an environment where openness, trust, and autonomy are encouraged, each team member selects the tasks to work on and exchanges daily with his/her teammates on the progress and challenges.
Responsibilities
What you will learn and contribute to
- Entry-level position in development for silicon used in networking routers and switches
- Design and develop HW from early concept phase, through architecture, prototype/board bring-up to the ultimate release of the product to production.
- Design the specific block functions according to the product roadmap in collaboration with Software, Hardware, DV (Design Verification).
- Perform Design Verification testing to ensure readiness for "tape out"
- Participate in design discussions and contribute ideas to improve both hardware and software quality and performance
- Continuously strive to get to higher levels of technical expertise, taking help from the team members
Required Qualifications:
- BS in computer science, electrical or electronics engineering.
- Hands-on experience in C/C++
- Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Team player and Fast learner.
- Great attitude and work ethic, with an attitude of always pursuing excellence.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous Nokia co-op experience.
- Knowledge of System Verilog
- Knowledge of UVM
- Knowledge of real time OS and embedded UNIX and using its debug capabilities.
- Understanding of script languages like TCL or PERL for test sequencing.
- Comfortable reading product hardware schematics and performing digital circuit analysis.
- Experienced in analyzing and debugging failures.
