About the role
We are looking for Assistant Project Managers who will assist in a variety of projects, initiatives, research, audits, and analytics across our departments to support consistent planning and operations.
Responsibilities
- Assisting project managers and functional managers in day-to-day project delivery activities
- Ensuring all tasks relating to the project activities are in compliance with the requirements
- Assist in the overall planning, tracking, and execution of project activities
- Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution
- Coordinate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues arising in a project
- Regularly report on status, issues, and deliverables of project assignments
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve and/or streamline operations and processes
- Assist in managing the implementation of process improvement projects by utilizing leadership skills and project management methodologies including project planning and issue management
- Conduct research, analyze information and summarize results/make recommendations on business-related topics, as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
- Must be able to write and speak fluently in English
- At least two years of experience in project management or departmental role
- Relevant or project management certification (e.g. CAPM) is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Experience with Agile frameworks is a plus
- Must be highly detail-oriented
- Committed to quality while being highly productive and efficient by using excellent time management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with organization management and staff
- Advanced proficiency with Google workplace apps -- particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets (or MS Office Suite expertise) and generally technologically savvy
