Job Description:
The Assistant Quality Director will help develop, train, and maintain the Mission Critical Quality Program while providing services as necessary to monitor and audit the effectiveness and quality of the programs being implemented by the project team, reporting the results to management.
Some things you can expect to do:
Ensure team members understand what is expected of them and hold them accountable for performance, provide regular feedback and have development conversations, delegate appropriate tasks and provide timely and meaningful recognition.
Conduct and/or participate in quality planning meetings with the Project Team, Client, or other Stakeholders, prior to mobilization and as needed, thereafter.
Develop, compile, and write training materials & conduct training sessions on Quality activities and/or coordinate outside trainers and training sessions.
Continuously monitor and update the Mission Critical Training Portal as procedures change or new content is created.
Assist the project construction team in developing a project specific QA program.
Act as a resource to project construction team on QA issues.
Connect the Project Team with appropriate corporate resources, when needed.
Train Quality Team Members and other Project Team Members on the process and procedures required to execute the quality management strategy.
Train to upgrade the skills of other team personnel regarding quality issues and solutions.
Coordinate and perform quality audits on select Ryan projects.
Monitor and maintain Ryan’s Quality Program Alerts.
Participate and/or Facilitate QA Committee Meetings.
Develop ways to continually improve quality management.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience overseeing MEP scopes, preferably with a mechanical or electrical contractor.
Mission Critical/Data Center and QC/QA experience. You also must be willing to travel to jobsites nationwide for audits and trainings.

A Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering
