Assistant Sales Manager
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Territory: Servicing a 90-mile radius from Schaumburg, IL

We are a local home improvement company growing at an impressive pace. Lead flow is strong, and we are looking to add a motivated and professional Assistant Sales Manager to support our In-Home Sales team. We proudly service customers within a 90-mile radius of Schaumburg, IL.

As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will work closely with the Sales Manager to help drive revenue, support day-to-day sales operations, and develop a strong, customer-focused sales team. This is a hands-on role ideal for a top-performing sales representative looking to grow into leadership.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Review and support appointments scheduled by the Inside Sales Team

  • Run sales appointments and run leads with sales representatives as a coaching and training opportunity

  • Assist sales representatives in-home by taking calls and helping guide the closing process

  • Support performance tracking and help implement action plans to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals

  • Assist with cancel-save appointments when needed

  • Work with the rehash manager to help re-enter homes and close open opportunities

  • Participate in and help facilitate ongoing sales training meetings

  • Reinforce sales expectations, best practices, and company standards

  • Provide coaching and support to sales representatives as directed by the Sales Manager

Requirements:
  • 2–4 years of successful Home Improvement Sales experience preferred

  • Prior mentoring, coaching, or informal leadership experience is a plus

  • Desire to grow into a long-term sales leadership role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Comfortable using technology, including iPad-based presentations and electronic contracts
