The Associate Account Executive is responsible for closing sales, sourcing new collectors, and building trust in the vintage card market while leveraging a strong sales process and using Salesforce for pipeline management.
The summary above was generated by AI

Alt is unlocking the value of alternative assets, starting with the $5 B trading-card market. We let collectors buy, sell, vault, and finance their cards in one place and we are backed by leaders at Stripe, Coinbase, Seven Seven Six, and pro athletes like Tom Brady and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Our next frontier is real-time pricing at scale—the Alt Value that powers every trade, loan, and product on the platform.

The Role: Closer Meets Collector

We’re looking for a proven Associate Account Executive with deep knowledge and passion for vintage cards—whether it’s pre-war baseball, ‘50s Bowman, ‘86 Fleer, or the non-sports classics that shaped collecting. You know the history, the players, and the stories behind the cardboard. And you know how to translate that knowledge into trusted relationships and closed deals.

You’ve been in sales 3–5 years, you live in Salesforce and Outreach, and you’re not just chasing deals—you’re building pipelines, handling objections, and consistently beating quota.

What You’ll Do:

  • Close business. Own the full sales cycle and bring vintage buyers and sellers onto Alt.

  • Hunt daily. We’ll start you with accounts, but your long-term success comes from sourcing new consignors and collectors in the vintage space.

  • Build trust. In vintage, reputation is everything. You’ll become the person serious collectors want to consign with, buy from, and sell to.

  • Shape product. You’ll spot gaps—whether it’s auction formats, pricing tools, or seller workflows—and bring those insights back to the team.

  • Run your process. Prospecting, qualification, relationship-building—it’s all muscle memory for you.

You’ll Love This Role If You…

  • Are a builder. You’re not here to maintain—you're here to help define the modern marketplace for vintage cards.

  • Live for the history. You can debate ‘52 Mantle centering, know the pop counts on key rookies, or geek out over Goudey, T206s, and Fleer Jordans.

  • Want your passion to be your career. Talking cards, advising collectors, and connecting people to the right opportunities is your dream job.

  • Are coachable and curious. Even if you don’t know every set or nuance, you’re eager to learn and humble enough to take feedback.

You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment

  • Proven track record of exceeding quota and managing pipeline in Salesforce (or similar CRM)

  • Strong communication skills with both customers and internal teams

  • Relentless drive—comfortable with cold outreach, discovery, and deal-closing conversations

  • A passion for vintage cards—whether as a collector, investor, dealer, or lifelong fan of the hobby

What you will get from us:
  • Opportunity to work with a leading innovator in the sports collectibles space
  • Ground floor opportunity as an early member of the Alt team; you’ll directly shape the direction of our company. The opportunities for growth are truly limitless.
  • An inclusive company culture that is being built intentionally to foster an environment that supports and engages talent in their current and future endeavors.
  • $100/month work-from-home stipend (US only)
  • $200/month wellness stipend (US only)
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • WeWork office Stipend (US only)
  • 401(k) retirement benefits (US only)
  • Generous paid parental leave (US only)
  • Competitive healthcare benefits, including HSA, for you and your dependent(s) (US only)

Base: $80K OTE: $140K (uncapped).
