About Global Client Experience
Global Client Experience (GCX) sits in the firm’s Office of the Chief Operating Offer (OCOO) and includes a mix of functions that support the capital raise, servicing, new product, operational risk, and business transformation processes, and is involved in nearly every facet of the client life cycle. The GCX strategy is to offer a global, scalable client service and content delivery platform to keep pace with the growth of the business, to drive better win and retention rates, provide timely and built-for-purpose client and regulatory reporting, and deliver a seamless client experience.
Nuveen Business Process Improvement
The Business Process Improvement team is responsible for developing and executing business improvement projects from initial assessment to implementation. The team provides counsel to senior leadership of Nuveen and manages cross-functional initiatives. Responsibilities include identifying business improvement opportunities, synthesizing complex information, designing process maps, ensuring controls are in place to address risks, and communicating recommendations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Participates in meetings with various business stakeholders to help capture requirements and drive the implementation of process improvement initiatives
Assists with documentation of the various initiatives including problem definition, current state process mapping, key metrics, controls implementation and overall future state recommendations
Collects data for business diagnostics that helps quantify and prioritize projects along with team feedback and input
Assists with performing impact analysis and supports process evaluation to identify, analyze, and improve operations and service quality
Supports the team in ensuring initiatives are within the boundaries of the firm’s operational risk framework
Assists with creating execution roadmaps with key milestones and helps drive the implementation
Tracks and monitors initiatives post-implementation with key metrics to assess the new process

- Ability to deliver under pressure and provide insights in short timeframes
- A team orientation, collaborative, and collegial style
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Anticipated Posting End Date:
2025-05-27Base Pay Range: $60,700/yr - $120,000/yrActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
