Job Summary:

The Associate Developer, Applications is responsible for collaborating with our team of developers on client projects to develop databases and interfaces, triage, manage, and resolve bug reports, and escalate certain issues to other team members as needed. The ideal candidate will have Claris FileMaker development and server management experience which is crucial to manage our FileMaker security requests, including installation and configuration of Claris FileMaker Admin console and application of SSL certificates.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom software solutions for clients.
• Complete tickets on the application development board
• Upgrade client application environment including software versions and patches
• Implement SSL certificates and certificate renewals
• Assist clients throughout the full lifecycle of software development from project conceptualization and planning to development, implementation, maintenance and support.
• Drive working sessions with client to ensure expectations and direction are aligned and timelines are being met. Identify additional product/service opportunities
• Build a customer-focused relationship with client to identify business challenges and develop specifications and requirements to arrive at the best solution
• Collaborate across multiple internal teams to ensure successful delivery of results based on scope of work.

• Familiarity with common business functions and workflows, including sales purchase ordering, process accounting

Experience: 

•  3+ years of development experience
• Experience with QA testing
• Experience with iOS/iPad applications
• Experience with FileMaker 3rd party plugins, including Troi File, Monkeybread, BaseElements
• Experience with Project Management and/or Agile software development concepts is a plus
•  Experience with JavaScript and HTML/CSS preferred
• FileMaker Pro v. 12.X or later experience
•  3+ years of experience developing in Claris FileMaker
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI and related platforms is a plus

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  

• Claris Academy certifications for Claris FileMaker Server, Claris FileMaker Pro, Claris Connect, and AI Fundamentals
