PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $106,600.00-$130,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $82,900.00 - $154,000.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.  For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.  

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE 

As an Associate Enterprise Project Manager at BECU, you'll help turn strategic ideas into successful business outcomes. You'll lead projects and initiatives that improve experience for our members and employees while partnering with stakeholders across the organization. By bringing structure, collaboration, and problem-solving to every stage of the project lifecycle, you'll help teams navigate complexity, remove obstacles, and deliver meaningful results.

management expertise while working alongside experienced Enterprise Project Managers and Program Managers on initiatives that drive organizational success. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Lead Project Execution: Manage projects, features, and business initiatives from planning through implementation and closure, ensuring successful delivery of objectives and outcomes.  

  • Drive Collaborative Planning: Partner with stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business requirements using an iterative and collaborative approach.  

  • Create Project Roadmaps: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, and key deliverables to keep teams aligned and on track.  

  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Success: Coordinate activities across teams, manage dependencies, and foster collaboration to achieve project goals.  

  • Manage Risks and Issues: Identify potential obstacles, proactively address challenges, and help remove barriers that impact project success.  

  • Support Governance and Communication: Participate in project governance activities and provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.  

  • Maintain Project Documentation: Ensure project artifacts, documentation, and deliverables meet organizational standards and audit requirements.  

  • Assist with Financial Oversight: Support project budgeting, forecasting, invoice reviews, and reconciliation of project expenditures.  

  • Coordinate Vendor and Partner Activities: Organize and manage the work of external partners and vendors supporting project initiatives.  

  • Support Release and Go-Live Activities: Create implementation plans and coordinate project launch activities to ensure smooth transitions and successful outcomes.  

  • Continuously Improve Delivery Practices: Identify opportunities to enhance project execution, team effectiveness, and delivery processes.  

  • Grow Through Mentorship: Seek coaching and development opportunities while expanding your project leadership capabilities.  

  • Take on Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience required 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading or supporting business and/or technology projects, with demonstrated ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously while applying strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Professional project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or equivalent preferred.  

  • Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) preferred 

  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments preferred.  

  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and stakeholders across complex organizations preferred.
