Adams Street Partners (“Adams Street”) is a global private markets investment manager that has nearly $76 billion* in assets under management. The firm is 100% employee-owned, which fosters a positive and unique culture of collaboration, intellectual rigor, integrity, and a commitment to professional development. For the eighth year in a row, Adams Street was named one of Pension & Investments’ Best Places to Work in Money Management in 2025.

Employees operate as a single global team, integrating the expertise of the firm’s investment professionals across five strategies: primary investments, secondary investments, growth equity, private credit, and co-investments.  Adams Street is considered a private markets pioneer and was inducted into the Private Equity Hall of Fame in 2000.

The firm was founded more than 50 years ago, and clients include leading public and corporate pension plans, foundations, endowments, insurance companies, registered investment advisors, and high net worth individuals worldwide.

Adams Street has offices in Abu Dhabi, Austin, Beijing, Boston, Chicago, Hong Kong, London, Munich, Menlo Park, New York, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Toronto.

*As of June 30, 2026. Adams Street Partners’ methodology to calculate Assets Under Management (AUM) is based on fund net asset value (NAV), plus unfunded commitments, plus leverage, but excluding the effect of subscription lines of credit. The prior AUM methodology was based on investor commitments minus commitments to fully liquidated underlying partnerships. Such change in methodology was effective July 2026; however, for periods shown prior to December 31, 2025, Adams Street continues to use the previous methodology. This updated methodology more closely aligns with (i) the amount of assets managed on behalf of investors and (ii) the amount of capital available to make direct and/or partnership investments. Amounts stated by investment advisers in regulatory filings (“regulatory AUM”) have a prescribed methodology, which may, in some circumstances, differ from the methodology such adviser uses for other purposes, including marketing efforts. Additional information is available upon request.

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytically minded Associate to join our Performance Reporting & Analysis (PRA) team within the global Investor Relations organization. This individual will own recurring performance reporting processes and deliverables supporting Adams Street's institutional and growing private wealth client base, including customized client reporting, presentation materials, consultant database and third-party portal updates, and other recurring reporting requirements. The role will also partner with Investor Relations and other stakeholders to support private wealth sales and client materials, meeting preparation, and performance- and data-related inquiries.

The ideal candidate combines strong attention to detail, analytical ability, organization, process discipline, and a commitment to client service with a continuous-improvement mindset. Successful candidates will proactively identify opportunities to make reporting more efficient, scalable, and repeatable through standardization, automation, technology, and AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own the accurate and timely execution of recurring performance reporting processes and deliverables, including client reporting, presentation materials, consultant database, third-party portal updates and manage associated workflows, dependencies, deadlines, and issue escalation.
  • Assume ownership of newly established reporting processes once requirements, methodology, data sources, and procedures have been defined, ensuring consistent and reliable execution thereafter.
  • Support Adams Street's growing Private Wealth business by partnering with Investor Relations and other stakeholders to update sales and marketing materials, prepare client and prospect meeting materials, and respond to performance- and data-related inquiries.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date procedures for assigned recurring processes, including data sources, calculation logic, controls, dependencies, review requirements, and key deadlines, so responsibilities can be executed consistently across the team.
  • Perform detailed data validation, reconciliation, and quality-control reviews to ensure performance information is complete, accurate, consistent, and appropriate for internal and external use.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve recurring reporting processes through standardization, automation, technology, and improved data utilization. Develop solutions that are scalable, well-controlled, documented, and maintainable by the broader team, with appropriate validation procedures to preserve data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate across Investor Relations, Investment Teams, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Middle Office, Technology, and other functions to obtain information, resolve data issues, and support reporting requirements.
  • Assist with ad hoc performance analyses, RFP/RFI requests, and other PRA initiatives as needed, while maintaining primary responsibility for recurring reporting and production processes.
  • Continually deepen knowledge of private markets performance measurement, Adams Street's investment strategies and fund structures, and evolving institutional and Private Wealth investor reporting needs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited undergraduate university, with an analytically oriented degree, such as Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field, with proven academic success.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment performance, client/investor reporting, portfolio analytics, investment operations, data analytics, or a related financial-services function.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to work with complex financial datasets, investigate discrepancies, and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to independently own recurring deliverables, manage competing deadlines, and maintain clear and comprehensive process documentation.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including experience manipulating, reconciling, and analyzing large datasets; familiarity with Power Query, Power BI, AI-enabled tools, or other reporting and automation technologies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in process improvement and automation, with an ability to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions that are repeatable, scalable, and maintainable by the broader team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to prepare polished client-facing materials and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of private markets, investment performance measurement, or private-market fund structures is preferred, with an interest and ability to develop expertise across Adams Street's investment strategies.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • CFA, CAIA, CIPM, or progress toward a relevant professional designation is a plus.
