What You'll Do:

This role will be responsible for leading the IT findings management process, including the development, implementation, and oversight of remediation programs within IT. The position ensures the overall effectiveness and adherence to the governance framework and leads a team responsible for evaluating IT's internal control environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the IT findings management process, including tracking, remediation, and reporting

  • Manage a team responsible for reviewing control data and identifying improvements in the IT delivery process and controls

  • Develop and implement remediation strategies for audit findings and regulatory issues

  • Lead the creation of dashboards and reports demonstrating control adherence and opportunities for improvement

  • Direct complex projects which may involve multiple systems and cross-functional teams

  • Develop strategic plans for continuous improvement of IT controls and governance

  • Oversee the team developing solutions to complex technical challenges

  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools that improve the efficiency, quality, and security of OCC's IT systems

  • Lead process gap analysis of controls to key regulations, mapping to industry standards and developing continuous compliance monitoring

  • Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on identified issues and support for regulatory exams and audit engagements

  • Prepare and deliver Executive Reporting and manage key stakeholder relationships

  • Credibly challenge and advise on potential and emerging risks

  • Coach and develop team members to enhance their technical and professional skills

  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct management of 3-5 IT Governance professionals

  • Responsible for hiring, performance management, and professional development of team members

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet department objectives

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and data reporting skills

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing teams

  • Proven ability to drive execution and deliver results

  • Experience working across multiple levels of management

  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple complex projects at a time

  • Able to succeed in fast-paced environment with frequent changes

  • Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Takes the initiative to research, learn and deliver; anticipates the play

  • Humble, collaborative, and focused on making sure the entire team succeeds

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge and experience of IT control frameworks and industry standards such as COBIT, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), or similar industry-accepted standards and the principles embedded within them

Technical Skills:

  • Excel

  • PowerPoint

  • Jira

  • Dashboard reporting tools (e.g. Tableau)

  • Experience with Security and DevOps tools

  • Integrated GRC management solutions such as Archer

Education and/or Experience:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 7+ years of work experience

  • 3+ years management experience

  • Work experience in the capital markets industry

Compensation

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
  • In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
  • We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package as noted on www.theocc.com/careers
  • All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

Salary Range

$126,600.00 - $171,100.00

Incentive Range

8% to 15%

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
