As an Associate Product Designer, you will provide hands-on support throughout the product lifecycle — from concept through execution — ensuring products are thoughtfully developed, accurately specified, and delivered on time. This role partners closely with Designers, Merchandising, Sourcing, Packaging, and Graphics teams to bring innovative product concepts to life while maintaining organization, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
What You’ll DoProvide design and development support across assigned product lines
Create detailed product specifications and digital renderings
Prepare products for presentations, photo shoots, trade shows, and shipment
Adhere to established timelines and production goals
Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Sourcing, Packaging, and Graphics teams
Support packaging and graphics needs as required
Track competitive offerings and research market trends
Attend trade shows and photo shoots as needed
Foundational understanding of product or technical design principles
Ability to communicate ideas through sketches and digital renderings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage timelines and prioritize multiple projects
Receptive to feedback with a continuous improvement mindset
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Collaborative, dependable, and highly organized
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience in décor, giftware, gourmet food, floral, or related industry preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art, Fashion, or related field preferred
Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
Ability to adhere to timelines and production goals
Less than 5% travel required
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer
Frequent reaching, stooping, and climbing steps
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
