Overview
As an Associate Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate the efforts for tracking and reporting for sales order management, ePlus Purchase Order management and deliveries for individual customer business units. You will work closely and communicate with warehouse order expeditors and sales teams to manage and monitor equipment inventory as well as serve as the customer interface to communicate regular updates, assist with delivery coordination, and extract customer forecasting plans for ePlus planning purposes. You will work with ITS Product Management for reporting, automation, process re-engineering assistance and potential system enhancements needed.
Your Impact
The essential functions of this position include:
- Oversee projects with hardware involving logistics and services being conducted in the ePlus warehouses to ensure they are implemented smoothly, on-time, and on budget
- Work closely and communicate with sales, services, and operations to stay abreast of all upcoming projects
- Create, maintain, and monitor analysis of inbound/outbound forecast for ePlus warehouses
- Communication as necessary with Inventory Control, Sales Order Changes and Returns and provide coordination assistance as needed.
- Track and report warehouse activity levels
- Work with warehouse and inventory control and if necessary, coordinate regular inventories and resolution of discrepancies
- Report or follow up on shipping information for order invoicing
- Point of contact for team inquiries and order status requests
- Coordinate internal department coordination including external shipping carriers
- Support customer-facing meetings
- Work with customers to gather and inventory and shipping requirements, prioritize and develop schedules
- Work with internal teams to ensure schedules are met. Communicate updates to customer in a timely manner.
- Support ePlus financial objectives by forecasting project revenues monthly and analyzing variances; initiating corrective action
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 4+ years logistics management and coordination experience
- Project management and coordination experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adept with computer and logistics management software
- Team-oriented
- Able to multi-task and work in dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Able to adhere to all safety requirements around conveyors, forklift trucks and hydraulic jacks in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Able to function independently under minimal supervision
- Must be able to communicate with and earn confidence from senior-level executives
- Working understanding of business processes and operations
- Ability to work effectively in high-risk, high-pressure situations
- Ability to motivate ePlus resources to out-perform and exceed client expectations
- Politically astute; able to recognize and work with political issues within client organizations
- Recommend process improvement strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating project outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends seen; anticipating requirements through lesson learned documentation
Position Specifics
The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $50,000 and $80,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.

Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an offer of employment is extended.
