Job Description:
As the Associate Services Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our services business. You will proactively identify, develop, and drive the closure of new service sales opportunities, taking the initiative to expand our customer base and strengthen existing partnerships. To do so, you will collaborate closely with your customers by providing technical expertise, our service partners to assess capabilities, and our internal sales force. You will take ownership of the services sales pipeline, actively identifying trends and market shifts to develop innovative strategies that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Service Sales:
Take the lead in driving AV service sales, proactively engaging with new and existing customers to uncover opportunities. Work independently while strategically leveraging Almo’s field salesforce when necessary to maximize sales impact. Take ownership in the identification of service needs and tailor solutions to customer requirements. Proactively schedule and conduct sales calls and customer visits, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals while seizing opportunities to advance sales discussions.
Sales and Closing:
The Associate Services Sales Specialist takes full ownership of the sales process, proactively leading service opportunities from initial engagement through successful close. They can engage with the Almo sales team for support as needed.
Pipeline Management:
Build and manage the services sales pipeline within the company's CRM system (Salesforce). Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities. Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies. Provide proactive recommendations to leadership on potential new service offerings and areas for growth.
Additional Responsibilities:
Willing to undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the organization to contribute to the overall success of the team and projects.
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Growth in new service sales revenue and expansion of customer accounts
- Proactive engagement with customers through scheduled meetings and strategic outreach
- Effective pipeline management and forecasting accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). \
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
- At least 1 year of experience in AV sales and business development
- Strong technical knowledge of AV solutions and services.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, customers, and colleagues.
- Travel expectation 10% (Strategic customer visits, events, etc)
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and contribute to marketing strategies.
- Excellent written communication skills for industry publications.
