Northstar Travel Company, LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Associate Travel Advisor. As an Associate Travel Advisor, you will have the opportunity to assist clients in planning their dream vacations and creating unforgettable travel experiences. This is an independent contractor position (not an employee) that is a remote gig.

Job Overview:

As an Associate Travel Advisor, you will work closely with clients to understand their travel preferences and help them plan and book their trips. You will provide exceptional customer service, offer expert advice on destinations, accommodations, and activities, and ensure that each client's travel needs are met with professionalism and care. You will be selling under the Northstar Travel Company, LLC brand and have mentorship and guidance to grow as a Travel Advisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and activities

  • Provide personalized recommendations and advice based on clients' preferences and budget

  • Handle inquiries and requests from clients in a timely and professional manner

  • Stay up-to-date on travel trends, destinations, and industry news

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and seamless travel experiences for clients

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Passion for travel and eagerness to learn about new destinations

  • Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (we don't set the hours, but clients may need you all hours of the day)

Compensation:

This is an independent contractor position, which means Northstar Travel Company, LLC will not provide salary compensation or benefits. Your compensation will come from the commission you receive from the travel you sell, based solely on your ability to sell travel.

Training & Support

Being a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will not receive employment benefits as this is not an employer-employee relationship. However, with your affiliation, you could receive the following:
