The International Autos Group is a family owned and operated group of dealerships serving customers in the Milwaukee, Menomonee Falls, Sheboygan, Minnesota, Northwest Indiana markets, and Chicago land. The owner of the organization is Ralph Mauro, the son of Frank Mauro, who purchased his original dealership in 1968. Frank Mauro left behind quite a legacy, including instilling strong work ethics in Ralph. In turn, Ralph instilled those hard work ethics in his son, Francis, who became the third-generation of the Mauro family to join the auto industry.

Core Responsibilities

As a Sales Consultant, you will be the face of our dealership, guiding customers through their journey to find the perfect vehicle.

 

  • Customer Engagement: Greet and guide customers as they appear on the lot to proceed into the sales process.

  • Inventory Expertise: Assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs by using current inventory information.

  • Demonstration: Enhance the sales process by demonstrating vehicle features.

  • Administrative Support: Assist customers in the completion of their sales applications.

  • Inventory Management: Assist management to increase sales by inspecting the lot’s vehicles daily and reporting any problems.

  • Merchandising: Ensure the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize sales potential.

  • Maintenance: Assist in inspecting vehicles to maintain lot standards.

Professional Qualifications

While no previous automotive experience is required, we look for individuals who possess the following:

 

  • Experience: Previous customer service experience is required; previous sales experience is a plus.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.

  • Attributes: Reliable, enthusiastic, outgoing, and persistent with a strong work ethic.

  • Skills: Proficient in basic business math (including percentages) and capable of using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs.

  • Mindset: Focused on the customer’s needs and unafraid to follow-up with potential buyers.
