Job Description – AVP Business Analyst

Who We Are
Renovo Financial is a dynamic and fast-growing private lender and mortgage servicer based in Chicago, dedicated to partnering with real estate investors who acquire and renovate single and multi-family residential properties. We take pride in delivering exceptional support to our clients, guiding them seamlessly from loan application to pay off with a commitment to unparalleled service. Our focus on reliability and a “win-win” approach has earned us an industry-leading repeat and referral rate, reflecting the strong relationships we build with our clients.

Position Summary
The Assistant Vice President (“AVP”), Business Analyst is responsible for supporting revenue growth through data-driven analytics across Renovo’s Originations platform. This role blends sales analytics, sales enablement, market intelligence and executive reporting to influence how Renovo prioritizes markets, builds local offices and teams, grows market share, acquires new customers and scales revenue.

Responsibilities
•Serve as the primary analytics partner to Director of Lending Strategy.
•Support Director of Lending Strategy and Chief Lending Officer in the creation and refinement of key executive sales & market reports focused on sales performance, pipeline dynamics, competitor intelligence, product mix, strategic partnership efforts and all other areas of the sales ecosystem.
•Support strategic planning for market prioritization and growth, sales coverage models and product development.
Support Renovo’s ongoing market intelligence function across all of Renovo’s product lines by tracking and analyzing market share and competitor programs, including leverage and pricing trends over time.
•Work with Directors of Lending and Managing Directors to create ad-hoc sales reporting and analytics.
•Support Loan Officers’ data requests and lead management questions.
•Supporting the implementation of strategies to target leads using Hubspot and other technology tools.
•Manage the build out and maintenance of Renovo’s Hubspot and Salesforce sales analytics infrastructure, including dashboards, reports and sales enablement tools.
•Advance self-service analytics tools within Hubspot, PowerBI and Salesforce for sales leaders and originators.
•Support strategic initiatives tied to new markets, new products and new customer acquisition.

What This Role is Not
•This is not a direct originations role, however, this role works closely with Originators and Sales Leadership to provide critical sales analytics.
•This is not a passive analytics role. This role requires deep critical thinking and the ability to “figure it out” when presented with a challenge.

What We Look For
•3-5 years of experience in sales and revenue analytics and sales enablement.
•Strong understanding of the residential mortgage industry, either in Business Purpose Lending, Conventional/ Non-QM lending, or residential investment finance.
•Advanced Excel proficiency.
•Advanced Hubspot and Salesforce reporting and advanced PowerBI (or other BI tools) reporting & dashboard proficiency.
•Strong financial and analytical acumen with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify revenue opportunities, and translate insights into actionable intelligence and reporting.
•Experience supporting sales leadership.
•Exceptional communication skills.

Success Factors
•Build a best-in-class, interactive sales and market intelligence dashboard ecosystem that becomes the primary source of truth for Renovo’s sales leadership.
•Create easily digestible analytics for sales leadership and reducing manual reporting dependency.
•Deliver improved visibility into production performance at the LO, POD, market, product, and portfolio levels.
•Provide actionable analytics that enable faster, higher-confidence revenue generating decisions.
•Create forward-looking pipeline forecasting that materially improve predictability of monthly and quarterly originations.
•Drive measurable improvements in revenue execution through support of Loan Officer’s lead/ data requests and implementation of custom targeting campaigns.
