Job Description

The Bancassurance Advisor is responsible for promoting and selling insurance products. This role involves close collaboration with client advisors and educating customers about various insurance policies, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable options to enhance financial security.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement:
  - Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and insurance needs.
  - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
2. Product Knowledge:
  - Stay informed about the latest insurance products and policy changes.
  - Provide comprehensive information about the features, benefits, and coverage options.
3. Sales and Target Achievement:
  - Achieve sales targets.
  - Develop strategies to maximize sales opportunities within the bank’s client base.
4.Cross-Selling:
  - Identify opportunities to cross-sell insurance products to banking clients.
  - Collaborate with bank staff to integrate insurance offerings smoothly into banking services.
5. Compliance:
  - Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies related to insurance sales.
  - Maintain proper documentation for all transactions and client interactions.
6. Customer Service
  - Address client queries and concerns regarding policy terms, claims, and renewals.
  - Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the policy lifecycle.
7. Training and Development:
  - Train bank staff on insurance products to enhance their capability in selling.
  - Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve knowledge and sales techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in insurance (as required by local regulations).
- Prior experience in sales, financial services, or insurance preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial products and markets.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Proficient in customer service and relationship management.
