  • Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements for Technology teams (Agile and/or hybrid delivery).
  • Analyse current-state vs target-state processes for loan origination, servicing, amendments, repayments, interest/fees, covenants, and lifecycle events.
  • Support solution design by clarifying business rules, data needs, controls, and operational impacts.
  • Drive UAT approach: test scenarios, defect triage, sign-off criteria, and readiness for release.

Project / Delivery Management (ancillary)

  • Plan and manage delivery across multiple workstreams: scope, milestones, RAID, dependencies, and governance.

Loans domain focus

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of loan products and processes (e.g., syndicated/bilateral loans, facilities, drawdowns, rollovers, repricing, amendments/waivers, collateral/security considerations where relevant).
  • Partner with Operations and Product to ensure solutions are workable, controlled, and scalable.
  • Ensure regulatory, conduct, and control requirements are embedded into requirements and delivery.

Legal features (strong plus)

  • Interpret and incorporate legal/contractual features into requirements (e.g., facility agreements, covenants, conditions precedent, representations, events of default, notice requirements).
  • Work effectively with Legal and Compliance stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of contractual obligations.

Required experience and capabilities

  • Proven track record as a Business Analyst delivering complex change in fast-paced programmes/projects.
  • Demonstrable experience in loans (front-to-back lifecycle knowledge preferred).
  • Strong delivery management skills: planning, governance, stakeholder management, and execution discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills: able to influence, simplify complexity, and drive decisions across senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical toolkit: process mapping, data analysis, problem structuring, and benefits articulation.
  • Comfortable working across global teams and multiple time zones.

Preferred / advantageous

  • Experience working with legal documentation and translating legal features into operational/technology requirements.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled solutions, automation, or advanced analytics in a regulated environment.
  • Experience with Agile delivery (Jira/Confluence), and/or hybrid delivery models.
  • Knowledge of controls, operational risk, and audit-ready documentation.

Key deliverables

  • Business requirements pack (epics/user stories, acceptance criteria, traceability).
  • Current-state and target-state process maps and control points.
  • RAID log, delivery plan, milestone reporting, and governance updates.
  • UAT plan, test scenarios, defect triage outcomes, and business sign-off.
  • Cutover/runbook inputs and operational readiness artefacts.

Success measures

  • Requirements are clear, testable, and reduce rework.
  • Delivery milestones met with transparent management of risks and dependencies.
  • Improved customer/colleague outcomes through streamlined loan processes and reduced operational friction.
  • Strong stakeholder confidence and effective cross-team collaboration.
