Job DescriptionCandidate must have previous experience writing business requirements in the financial industry.
- Strong knowledge of OTC financial markets, especially Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) and Foreign Exchange (FX) Swaps, is required.
- Knowledge of other OTC swap markets, such as Credit Default Swaps (CDS) and Equity Swaps, is a plus.
- Familiarity with Calypso OTC Clearing and Processing software is desired.
- Experience with additional CME Group asset classes such as Energies, Metals, Agricultural Products, etc., is a plus.
- Knowledge of listed derivatives (futures and options), clearing systems, risk management methodologies, margining systems, trade lifecycle and post-trade processing is a plus.
- Must be familiar with formal requiremnts management process.
- Working knowledge of system design, architecture and application programming/analysis and software development life cycles is required.
- Understanding of XML concepts, FpML, FIX protocol and FIXML is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities will include
- Participate in identifying business requirements by working directly with business stakeholders, end users, and technology.
- Produce business requirements and functional specifications for API and GUI projects.
- Document, communicate, and review requirements with project team members and Business users.
- Work directly with technology Development, Systems Analysis and QA staff to answer questions, help troubleshoot issues, and perform high level user acceptance testing.
- Some domestic and/or international travel may be required.
