Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrable Node.js experience, building intricate backend systems
  • Demonstrable creative problem-solving ability
  • Ability to quickly learn complex systems and new technologies
  • Working knowledge of system architecture and database design
  • Know-how dealing with building and maintaining complex event-driven systems
  • Demonstrable experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Ability to build highly performant APIs to power data visualizations
  • Experience dealing with scalability requirements and performance improvements
  • Ability to collaborate well with others
  • Startup experience as a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Prior experience with Continuous Integration and test-driven development as a plus
