About the role:

As a Bankruptcy Specialist, your role involves investigating and maintaining customer accounts in connection to their bankruptcy status. This position requires a thorough comprehension of both the industry and the various processes and workflows associated with bankruptcy. Moreover, you will be handling diverse situations and should be adept at navigating through ad-hoc scenarios across multiple P&L brands.

Responsibilities: 

  • Scan and upload bankruptcy documents received from facilities to ensure accurate updates across all CRMs (such as Jira, Excel) and customer portals (including the CashNetUSA portal, NetCredit portal, and Headway portal) for all customer accounts
  • Conduct follow-up calls to retained attorneys of customers
  • File proof of claims with district courts
  • Adhere to strict compliance and regulatory guidelines and achieve company standards for quality and responsiveness
  • Identify and analyze issues producing solution based outcomes while also escalating abnormalities to management
  • Perform additional escalated duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • 1 or more years of experience with bankruptcy processes and workflows
  • Computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills required (example: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with team members and management
  • Ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

Compensation:

The budgeted hourly rate range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00. Actual rate will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include commission or bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
