Job Description:

The Benefits Support Specialist will act as the primary point of contact for an assigned base of clients, serving as their dedicated resource for benefit product support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the daily support of clients, answering questions regarding the benefit systems
  • Resolve benefits questions for your clients using critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Subject matter expert in varying benefit systems (i.e. IHR, bswift, etc.) data needs, including initial data conversion, configuration, writing data maps, ongoing data processes and automated audit processes to verify and maintain data integrity end processes
  • Provides support and consults clients on using the system, benefit best practices, and benefit plan compliance.
  • Advises clients on how to process changes properly, especially in regards to integrations and EDI files
  • Stays up-to-date on HR, benefit, and compliance regulations as to ensure compliance as well as for certification upkeep when relevant

Job Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of benefit experience required
  • Knowledge of benefits, plan design, and compliance
  • Previous payroll service bureau experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • BSwift experience preferred
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP preferred
