Job Summary:

The BI Developer will serve as a key analytics partner for Sharecare’s Carelinx line of business, delivering high-quality business intelligence solutions that improve operational visibility, performance management, and strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for translating complex operational, clinical, and financial data into intuitive dashboards and robust data models that support leaders, analysts, and frontline teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical proficiency with an ability to collaborate effectively across a dynamic, data-driven healthcare organization..

Essential Job Functions:

  • Dashboard and Reporting Development: Build, refine, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards that provide actionable insights into Carelinx operations, workforce performance, client commitments, and program outcomes.
  • Data Integration and Transformation: Source, transform, and integrate data from multiple internal and external systems, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the BI environment.
  • Data Modeling: Design, optimize, and maintain semantic models that support scalable reporting and efficient analytics across diverse healthcare and operational data sets.
  • Requirements Gathering and Collaboration: Partner with business owners, analysts, product teams, and operational leaders to translate business questions into technical specifications and BI solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance dataset, model, and report performance to ensure reliable, fast, and user-friendly experiences within Power BI.
  • Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain documentation covering data sources, transformation logic, data models, and reporting standards to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
  • End-User Enablement: Provide training, guidance, and support to business users to enhance adoption of Power BI tools and promote a self-service analytics culture.

Specific Skills/ Attributes:

  • Proficiency in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service) and Microsoft BI stack.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and deliver meaningful insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and data warehousing principles.
  • Working knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps for workflow automation and app development.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and initiative in managing work and driving outcomes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, with demonstrated expertise in Power BI.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing enterprise-grade BI solutions and managing stakeholder relationships.
