Role Overview:
Could you be our next Bilingual Creative Producer? Globe Life is looking for a Bilingual Creative Producer to join the team!
This role is responsible for driving the entire lifecycle of video content from original concept and scriptwriting to logistical coordination and final delivery. This position requires you to actively pitch creative ideas, write compelling narratives in both English and Spanish, and take full ownership of project management (including scheduling stakeholder meetings, coordinating talent, and managing timelines). You will serve as a cultural bridge for our Spanish-speaking markets and leverage tools to accelerate the creative process, ensuring every project, whether a social short or a corporate feature, delivers a clear, emotional impact that meets business objectives. This role requires significant domestic and international travel to capture stories on-location.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).
What You Will Do:
- Proactively pitch original concepts and video narratives to the Senior Manager and internal clients; ensure all creative concepts align with the broader department strategy and brand vision before execution.
- Write and edit compelling scripts and storyboards in both English and Spanish, ensuring they capture attention and drive engagement.
- Lead "Transcreation" efforts: Serve as the cultural lead for Spanish-language projects, ensuring that tone, dialect, and messaging are not just translated, but culturally adapted to resonate authentically with our diverse market.
- Leverage Generative AI tools daily to accelerate storyboarding, visual concepting, and script drafting to improve production velocity.
- Own end-to-end project logistics: This includes scheduling and leading stakeholder meetings, pre-production syncs, talent coordination, and shoot days.
- Manage the production calendar: Create and communicate detailed schedules for shoots, including locations, travel plans, and resource allocation.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate directly with internal clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the process.
- Resource Management: Make recommendations for project resources and manage the organization of the video library and assets.
- Driving Approvals: Act as the primary driver for project momentum. You are expected to aggressively manage timelines by following up with stakeholders for approvals and assets, ensuring no project stalls due to lack of communication.
- Direct and Produce: Execute video shoots (in-studio and frequently on-location). You must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally (estimated ~40+ days per year) to support events, incentive trips, and field documentaries.
- Technical Execution: Assist in the production of video and sound projects, including capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/SFX, and archiving project media.
- Analytics: Evaluate video performance analytics to inform future creative decisions.
What You Can Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Film, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, with an aptitude for making quick, quality decisions under pressure.
- 5+ years of professional experience in narrative video production, creative agency, or digital storytelling roles.
- Experience creating or adapting content specifically for Spanish-speaking audiences (experience with "transcreation" rather than direct translation is highly preferred).
- A showcase reel or portfolio is mandatory. It must demonstrate narrative storytelling and scriptwriting capabilities. You must explicitly identify the specific role you played in each production (e.g., "Writer/Producer" vs. just "Camera Operator").
- Proven track record of managing the full production lifecycle, including direct client communication, scheduling meetings, and managing talent logistics without administrative support.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Generative AI tools in a professional workflow for ideation, storyboarding, or efficiency.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, and Mac and PC operating systems.
- Ability to interview people of various backgrounds in both English and Spanish.
- Understanding of cultural nuances to adapt messaging, not just translate it.
- Demonstrated ability to turn loose business goals into structured video concepts and polished scripts.
- Expertise in pre-production organization, including scheduling stakeholder meetings, managing talent, scouting locations, and securing resources without requiring constant supervision.
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask across multiple projects, manage strict deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Skill in professional production workflows and familiarity with cinema cameras, lighting systems, and audio recording.
- Proficiency, including digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video.
