Position Overview

Storer Transportation is searching for a meticulous Billing & Intake Clerk to oversee the data integrity of our customer invoicing and contract data entry pipelines. You will be responsible for reviewing transport logs, auditing driver sheets, and processing accurate invoices for school districts, municipal agencies, and corporate accounts. This role demands a sharp eye for numbers and absolute consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review completed daily driver logs, manifests, and electronic tracking data to verify total billable hours and miles.
  • Process, generate, and distribute accurate invoices to commercial clients and government agencies weekly and monthly.
  • Audit client transport intake requests against contractual rate structures to prevent billing discrepancies.
  • Investigate, reconcile, and resolve billing disputes or short-payments in collaboration with client accounts.
  • Maintain organized digital archives of all processed invoices, contracts, and supporting transit documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–3 years of dedicated experience in corporate billing, invoicing, data entry, or accounts receivable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and advanced data sorting.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, contract terms, and automated invoice routing.
  • Proven ability to isolate mathematical errors or missing data points in high-volume environments.
  • Excellent email correspondence skills for resolving financial questions with institutional clients.
