KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Distribution Strategy & Exhibitor Management
- Lead booking and holdover strategies for assigned releases, maximizing screen allocation, showtime positioning, and overall market performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for designated key exhibitor accounts, fostering strong commercial relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
- Participate in exhibitor negotiations, influencing programming decisions and securing optimal theatrical support for Universal releases.
- Monitor competitive activity, market dynamics, and exhibitor performance to proactively adjust distribution strategies.
Commercial Analysis & Decision Support
- Deliver comprehensive analysis of bookings, holdovers, admissions trends, and box office performance to support distribution and commercial decisions.
- Develop strategic recommendations based on market data, historical performance, audience behavior, and competitive benchmarks.
- Analyze film pre-sales, market potential, and release trajectories to identify risks and opportunities throughout the theatrical window.
- Support forecasting exercises and contribute to release planning strategies for upcoming titles.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Lead the preparation and distribution of key market reports, performance analyses, and exhibitor updates for Universal Pictures Mexico and Home Office stakeholders.
- Generate actionable insights from market, exhibitor, and title-specific data to support senior management decision-making.
- Track industry trends, competitive releases, circuit developments, and market shifts to ensure the organization remains informed and agile.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders in a clear, concise, and business-oriented manner.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of Sales & Booking systems, maintaining timely and reliable information for business planning and reporting.
- Drive process improvements and enhance reporting tools to increase efficiency, visibility, and analytical capabilities within the Sales team.Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and regional teams to ensure alignment around release strategies and performance objectives
