Job Overview 

Reporting to the Senior Director of New Platforms and Acquisitions, you will identify and scale key brand initiatives from start to finish across multiple business functions. You will work collaboratively with the New Platforms team and business partners to translate insights into brand building plans and execution. You will utilize strong project leadership, critical thinking, curiosity, and communication skills to successfully guide a range of brand management projects from idea to execution through the commercialization process. You will apply strong business and analytical acumen and in-depth knowledge of P&L interdependencies to identify and evaluate key business issues and drivers. You will translate strategies into initiatives that will result in accelerated share and sustainable profit growth. You will analyze and interpret market data to take advantage of opportunities and minimize adverse trends. You will identify risks, opportunities and actionable gap solves. Additionally, you will articulate a vision and set clear goals for the cross-functional project teams related to consumer insights, pricing, forecasting, promotion, finance, operations, and sales to drive growth for the business.  

 

 What You’ll Do:  

  • Build volume forecasts for new platforms that stretch across multiple brands and channels. Upon entering new spaces, selects suitable proxy items to triangulate velocity, distribution, and potential performance based on benefit offering. Forecast considers sell-in requirements, reset windows, and disciplined distribution approach.  

  • Manage commercialization projects for new platforms, simultaneously commercializing multiple brand offerings that meet specific channel dynamics of club, retail, and natural.  

  • Lead monthly consumption reporting, identifying risks and opportunities.  

  • Collaborate to understand, align, and activate against target consumer behavior and insights and apply toward innovation and product design, ensuring consumer proposition holds through commercialization process.  

  • Provide support for trade, marketing, and sales planning.  

  • Lead across a variety of cross-functional teams to deliver strategies and short- and long-term goals.  

  • Help develop and execute the annual operating plan, taking data and cross-functional input to build plans that achieve following year financial goals. Evaluate progress against plan, recommending corrective action as needed. 

  • Lead ongoing fully competitive landscape assessment. 

  • Review all brand elements including pricing strategy, active SKU management, category management/assortment optimization, and consumption performance trends. 

 

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of work experience in brand marketing, innovation, consulting, or related field.  

  • Experience working in Consumer Goods (strongly preferred). 

  • Expertise anticipating future business opportunities or problems and developing strategies that address them proactively. 

  • Experience delivering initiatives that have been realized and contributed significant gains in the capture of market share, revenue and volume growth, and operational efficiencies. 

  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment. 

  • Ability to employ critical thinking and creative problem solving when there isn't a defined blueprint. 

  • Proven analytic skills, communication skills, and a flexible and curious mindset. 

  • Proficiency in leading people and indirect teams.

Compensation: 

Annual Base Salary: $128,000.00 - $167,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
