The Impact you will have in this role:

The Associate Director, Business Analysis, is responsible for driving measurable improvements in platform strategy, project delivery, and operational outcomes – with a direct focus on achieving better financial performance, delivering more value to clients and the enterprise, and reducing risk. The Associate Director develops and maintains systems to track performance, identifies and addresses gaps, and leads cross-functional initiatives to optimize results. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to lead root cause analysis, and the skills to mobilize cross-functional teams and implement solutions. Additionally, this person manages the book of work for the function, ensuring all projects and initiatives are aligned with strategic objectives and delivered effectively

 

  • Operational Maturity & Best Practices: Identify and address gaps in foundational management practices, such as policies, procedures, data quality, and service reporting. Lead initiatives to establish, document, and continuously improve these core capabilities to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
  • Performance Tracking & Analytics: Develop and maintain systems and processes to monitor platform strategy, project execution, and operational performance (e.g., OKRs, KPI trees), enabling fact-based, data-driven decision making
  • Continuous improvement: Own and drive continuous improvement processes to identify performance gaps, lead root cause analysis (across people, processes, governance, tools & technology, data, etc.), and deliver projects to address them. Track and report on improvement outcomes.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of projects and programs, ensuring robust governance, transparent reporting, effective risk management, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Requirements documentation: Document functional requirements for new capabilities and enhancements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including technology, client operations, finance, EDS, etc.) to deliver performance improvements, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives. Influence without direct authority and manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Significant experience in performance management, business analysis, operational excellence, project/program management, or related fields. 
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience in project/program leadership 
  • Experience documenting requirements and driving cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is a plus
  • Basic understanding of B2B technology platforms and system integration concepts (e.g., network connectivity, channels, formats, etc.)

 

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Enterprise Services comprises of multiple business platforms including Client Services, Global Business Operations, Business Architecture, Data Strategy and Analytics, and Digital Services, which report into the Chief of Enterprise Services.

These grouped platforms enable the business to optimize delivery for clients, generate efficiencies and resilience, and enable consistency in the business digitization strategy, processes and end-to-end best practices.
