• Utilizes information management tools as well as various data sources, to uncover and determine root causes of data governance issues.
• Works closely with internal business users and clients (data owners) to resolve data governance issues.
• Takes a hand’s on approach to data governance. Create a baseline for use in periodic data governance reviews and audits.
• Defines the degree of data governance required for all data elements and the values required for each element to support data usage.
• Collaborates with data architects to incorporate data governance screening/tests for data elements into data sourcing processes (ETL).
• Articulates the need for and benefits of data governance to vendors, clients groups, system users, and other stakeholders.
• Identifies and leverages opportunities to continually improve the governance of data management systems, processes, policies, and standards.
• Engages and partners with 3rd party vendors, internal development, and other parties as needed. Establishes data governance metrics and provides reports on metrics attainment.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 35,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 123,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
