Role Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to assess current operations, identify improvement opportunities, and support the design and implementation of practical solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Gather, define, and prioritize business requirements in close collaboration with clients.
- Analyze current processes, operational data, pain points, and root causes.
- Perform process gap analysis and identify operational improvement opportunities.
- Design future-state processes and support process re-engineering initiatives.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, or process specifications.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to support solution design and implementation.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions.
- Support project delivery, requirement changes, testing, and implementation activities.
- Prepare clear analysis, recommendations, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- University degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, transformation, or a similar role.
- Strong experience in the asset management industry, preferably across mutual, provident, or private funds.
- Good understanding of fund operations, including fund accounting, NAV, investor services, and reporting.
- Experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or business transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause and data-driven analysis.
- Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and process re-engineering.
- Experience gathering and managing business and functional requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across business, operations, and technology teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Pragmatic, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
