You’ll play a key role in advancing our digital transformation, supporting initiatives such as our AI-driven product, ClassMate learning platform, World Book Online, and data-driven lesson builder tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Manager, Product Director, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements that drive clarity and alignment across teams.
- Translate business goals into user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Collaborate with UX, Data, and Engineering teams to design functional solutions and data models that improve product usability and learning impact.
- Perform gap analyses and process mapping to identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring business priorities are reflected in development activities.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of new product features before release.
- Collect and analyze post-launch metrics to evaluate product effectiveness and support iterative improvements.
- Create and maintain clear documentation (process flows, data dictionaries, and requirement specifications) to ensure knowledge continuity.
- Support integration of AI, metadata tagging, and content personalization initiatives across World Book’s platforms.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring transparent communication and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or equivalent role within an EdTech, SaaS, or digital content environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles; experience in Jira, Confluence, or similar tools required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Familiarity with API documentation, integrations, and system workflows.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven record of delivering on commitments.
- Experience in AI, data analytics, or learning technology environments is a plus.
Salary - $65,000 - $85,000
Pay Range:
56,000.00 - 84,000.00We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and more!
