Job Summary

We are seeking a finance‑focused Business Analyst to translate Finance business needs into clear, actionable requirements and deliver SAP‑enabled process and reporting improvements. This role requires a solid understanding of core finance processes—gained through either hands‑on Finance experience or a strong technical background supporting finance systems—and the ability to effectively partner with both functional and technical teams.

About the Role

In this role, you will support SAP‑based finance applications by working closely with Finance and Technology teams to deliver solutions that align with accounting requirements and business processes. You will contribute to initiatives such as data and process migrations, new SAP functionality implementations, integration changes, and remediation of production issues. The role includes validating solutions through testing and supporting successful deployments into production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to Finance stakeholders, including Accounting, Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Revenue, and AP/AR.
  • Lead requirements gathering and process design for core finance processes, including:
    • Record‑to‑Report (general ledger, close, financial statements)
    • Procure‑to‑Pay (accounts payable, vendor accounting)
    • Order‑to‑Cash (accounts receivable and billing, including use of the RAR module)
    • Fixed Assets, intercompany, and cost accounting
  • Translate accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance requirements into system and process designs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through enhanced system usage and automation.
  • Perform data reviews within SAP finance applications to ensure transactions successfully complete end‑to‑end processing, including identifying and resolving incomplete, stranded, or unposted items.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience supporting finance organization back‑office systems, preferably within a large, multinational environment.
  • Experience working with SAP‑based finance systems.
  • Strong understanding of core financial accounting and reporting processes, including:
    • Month‑end and quarter‑end close activities
    • Financial master data (general ledger accounts, cost centers, profit centers, company codes)
  • Knowledge of Central Finance concepts; implementation experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP ECC or a similar ERP platform.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA migration or integration projects.
  • Familiarity with SAP Revenue and Accounting & Reporting (RAR).
