POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Applications Analyst is responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of Allied’s business application portfolio and vendor solutions. This role partners with business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to design workflows, configure systems, manage access, support implementations, and ensure applications meet operational needs. The role also owns day-to-day support, including troubleshooting issues, responding to tickets, and driving resolution with vendors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve as the primary liaison between business teams, IT, and vendors for assigned business applications
- Configure, administer, and maintain business applications, including workflow design, system setup, and user access management
- Manage application enhancements, updates, and releases, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancements, integrations, and process improvements
- Develop and maintain process flows, user stories, standard operating procedures, and application documentation
- Analyze business processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, automation, and operational effectiveness
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder meetings to define needs and priorities
- Partner with IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to support implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation of requirements
- Troubleshoot application issues, respond to support tickets, and coordinate timely resolution with internal teams and vendors
- Monitor application performance, user feedback, and vendor service levels, escalating and resolving issues as needed
- Support vendor onboarding and manage ongoing vendor relationships, including issue resolution and service quality
- Maintain application, vendor, and process documentation to support governance, compliance, and audit readiness
- Develop and maintain reporting and metrics related to application performance, vendor effectiveness, and process improvements
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role, required.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to monitor and prioritize multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Experience reading, analyzing, and reviewing organizational metrics and data, preferred.
- Must have Application Management and Vendor Management experience
- Strong Project or Program Support experience required.
