SUMMER 2027

Shure offers a challenging, fun, and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

The Business Applications Intern will support project activities associated with Shure's Customer Value Stream and related business application ecosystem, including Salesforce, SAP, AWS, and integration middleware platforms. The intern will collaborate with stakeholders across Product Development, Customer Success, and IT to analyze business needs, document requirements, support solution evaluations, and contribute to initiatives that improve customer-facing processes and technology capabilities. 

This Internship is Hybrid in Niles, IL.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with business and technical analysis activities for projects supporting Shure's Customer Value Stream. 
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business and functional requirements. 
  • Support solution evaluations and process improvement initiatives across Salesforce, SAP, AWS, and integration platforms. 
  • Participate in project planning, status meetings, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration sessions. 
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation, process flows, user stories, and other deliverables. 
  • Perform data analysis and research to help identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and improved user experiences. 
  • Support testing activities, including test planning, execution, and issue tracking. 
  • Support the IT Business Applications team in evaluating and implementing technology solutions aligned with business objectives. 
Qualifications
  • In process of a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and interpret information. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. 
  • Interest in enterprise applications, business systems, and digital transformation initiatives. 
  • Basic understanding of business process analysis, software development lifecycle, or project management concepts. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies and business processes.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Modeled by extensive market analysis and economic best practices, Shure offers competitive intern compensation that is reviewed and adjusted annually by our Total Rewards Team to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top intern talent. Each internship has an hourly rate which varies from $23-$43 per hour based on job function (Engineering, IT, Business, etc) and year completed in school (Junior, Masters 2nd year, PHD, etc).
