Our Business Development team focuses on expanding our client base in North America across Professional Service categories. This individual will join a very successful team that serves as an integral part of Mintel's business and will get the opportunity to partner with some of the key players in these industries to sell our entire suite of research solutions.  The role requires a hungry and motivated salesperson but comes with a lucrative uncapped commission plan and incredible growth opportunities within the business.

You should have a proven track record of delivering return on investment and achieving sales targets as you will be responsible for negotiating contracts with our highly valued clients. You should be strategic, creative and first and foremost, a trustworthy partner to the businesses we support.

This is a Hybrid position based in Chicago. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Creating a consultative strategy to target clients within industries such as Financial Services, Telecom, Travel, Retail, Technology and Media
  • Identifying and prospecting key decision makers within marketing and research divisions to understand their specific competitive needs
  • Delivering exceptional sales results against net-new revenue target on a quarterly basis
  • Traveling to clients for face-to-face meetings in addition to holding Zoom conversations, discussing the benefits and impact Mintel’s data can bring to their business

The below reflects the range of base salary for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and qualifications. The salary range for this role is: $68,000 USD to $85,000 USD.
