    • Connect, mount, and configure 2D smart vision hardware and GoPxL® software directly at customer production lines to validate project feasibility and prove application capabilities in real time.
    • Solve front-line application challenges independently; partner with Field Application Engineers (FAEs) on complex toolchain configurations, advanced custom scripting, and AI-driven image analysis.
    • Bridge commercial discussions with practical engineering evaluations to significantly compress customer evaluation cycles.
  • Territory Synergy, Channel Collaboration & Team Enablement
    • Develop, execute, and adapt territory business plans across the Americas in response to regional market dynamics and competitor positioning.
    • Serve as the resident 2D subject matter expert, coaching and enabling regional Area Sales Managers to identify, cross-sell, and position 2D solutions within their existing 3D accounts.
    • Collaborate strategically with distribution partners, certified system integrators (SIs), and OEMs to drive recurring business while preserving channel alignment.
    • Provide continuous voice-of-customer (VoC) feedback to Product Management, R&D, and Marketing to influence future product roadmaps and GoPxL® feature development.
  • Commercial Pipeline Execution & Forecasting
    • Manage the complete B2B sales lifecycle from initial cold outreach, qualification, and on-site proof-of-concept to commercial proposals, contract negotiations, and closing.

    • Represent LMI Technologies at key trade shows, industry conferences, and technical workshops across North America.
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Physics, or equivalent technical sales experience.
  • 3+ years of documented success in B2B technical sales or business development within industrial machine vision (2D smart cameras, optics, industrial lighting), factory automation, robotics, or industrial sensing.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive individual sales targets and quota metrics.
  • Technical & Commercial Skills:

    • Consultative Value Selling: Proven capability to translate technical camera specifications into measurable manufacturing ROI (yield improvement, scrap reduction, throughput efficiency).
    • Communication: Exceptional presentation, demonstration, and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Spanish is a strong asset.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and valid passport.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% throughout the Americas region for customer site visits, live trials, and trade shows.
  • Self-disciplined and equipped to operate independently from a home-based office with high accountability.
Perks and Benefits
  • Competitive Total Compensation: Highly competitive base salary paired with an uncapped, performance-driven sales incentive and commission structure.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive health coverage options for you and your dependents.
