Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in Texas; Experienced in the Oil & Gas industry across Texas and Oklahoma)

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly focused on engineered metal components, castings, and machining solutions. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, building strong client relationships with key industry players (OEMs, EPCs, operators), and aligning customer needs with technical capabilities to ensure revenue growth and long-term partnerships. This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in Texas who have professional experience or business relationships in Texas and Oklahoma, two key regions for Oil & Gas activity.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Trade, or related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or Engineering) is a plus.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
  • At least 2 years of direct experience in the Oil & Gas industry (upstream, midstream, or EPC).
  • Experience with metal components, manufacturing, or sourcing services preferred.
  • Fluent in English(oral and written).
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be based in Texas
  • Occasional travel as required by clients.

 

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of procurement processes in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Familiarity with engineered components such as castings, metal stamping, machined parts, pressure control equipment, valves, or related solutions.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings/specifications.
  • Knowledge of industrial sales cycles and contract negotiation practices.
  • Familiarity with the Texas and Oklahoma markets

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Lead the commercial process from prospecting to contract closure
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure feasibility of proposed solutions
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to customer needs
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery, and commercial terms
  • Attend trade shows, customer visits, and industry events to promote services
  • Report sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status to senior management
